Black Rock

Our Black Rock Project was a new construction spec home.  The client decided to get all base level materials in the home knowing we were going to refinish everything, to fit their aesthetic. 

We had large  24x 48 inch polished stone tiles installed throughout. The walls were skimmed, and painted with neutral tones to highlight the high ceilings and open floor plan. The kitchen backsplash is a combination of 2 different sets of mixed metals and tiles. We turned the backsplash tiles vertical to create a focal point, and to modernize as well as elongate the range area.

On the kitchen island, we hand selected a quartzite slab wanting it to be transparent.  We put this slab on the front of the island and then backlit it with large LED panels.

We had some remaining quartzite left so we created a floating vanity for the powder room that is also backlit with LED lights. It gives off the perfect glow.
